Mr. Koplowitz is a partner in the New York office, specializing in defending not-for-profit companies serving developmentally disabled individuals in various high-exposure cases. He litigates motor vehicle, premises liability, negligent supervision, sexual abuse, and wrongful death cases. Additionally, he represents surgical centers, podiatrists, home health care providers, and other medical professionals in malpractice lawsuits. Mr. Koplowitz handles claims from inception through conclusion, including pre-suit investigation, arbitration, mediation, trial, and appeal. His successes include a directed verdict in a lead poisoning case, summary judgment in over a dozen cases, several appellate victories, and hundreds of favorable negotiated settlements.

Mr. Koplowitz was selected as a New York Metro Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2021 to 2023, an honor awarded to the top 2.5% of lawyers under forty years old in the New York metropolitan region, for his work defending personal injury cases.

Prior to joining Hardin Kundla, Mr. Koplowitz defended motor vehicle and premises liability cases at New York defense firms. He also has experience litigating employment discrimination cases.

Mr. Koplowitz graduated from Binghamton University in 2009, and went on to obtain his law degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. During law school, he served as the Notes Editor for the Cardozo Journal of Conflict Resolution.

Mr. Koplowitz is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey, including various federal courts in those states.
